Boots Exit Health Centre
We were recently involved in the negotiations for a lease renewal of a health centre pharmacy in North Yorkshire. Sign of the times? … … …

Boots had been in occupation at the health centre since 1994 during which time they had taken additional integral space to serve the Practice list of some 12,500 patients.

The pharmacy was dispensing approximately 8,500 items per month from the surgery.

Following very lengthy negotiations, during which time the CPCF was announced and after much deliberation, Boots decided to not renew the lease and instead, to relocate to the nearby High Street.

We are aware of other similar situations in more than thirty locations around the country!
